TRUST

The prompt, obviously, for this page was Trust. This was easy for me. I immediately
thought of trusting in God for everything in my life. The story of Peter in the boat, calling out to Jesus is a beautiful example of trust. Jesus walked out to the disciples who were fishing in the boat - yes, on the water if you don't know the story! Peter said, "Lord, if it's you, tell me to come to you!" He was completely trusting that the Lord was going to empower him to walk on the water, too! However, as he was walking towards Jesus, he looked down and began to fear. He lost focus, lost trust, and began to sink. I am so like Peter, waivering between trust and fear constantly.
